MINT – THE PLANT
Scientific name: Mentha Spicata. Description: Perennial plant 30 – 100 cm tall, of the mint family, with lanceolate aromatic leaves and small flowers. It is of the same genus as Mint but a different botanical species. Origin: Native to Europe and SW Asia.
SPRING MINT – THE “ORGANIC” ESSENTIAL OIL
Technique: Extracted from the whole plant, by steam distillation. Composition: Contains carbon, an ingredient recommended by the US Environmental Protection Agency as a powerful mosquito repellent. Smell: Cool and penetrating. Country of origin: United States of America
PROPERTIES
Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antispasmodic, antifungal, antibacterial, relaxing, insect repellent.
USE
Runny nose, rhinitis, sinusitis, chronic and acute bronchitis, tonsillitis. Treats intestinal colic, indigestion, flatulence, nausea. Soothes the nervous system, treats migraine, headache, insomnia, palpitations and spasms. In aromatherapy, it enhances memory and mental concentration.

CONTRAINDICATION
